Disneyland – A Holiday For Everyone

When talking about fun and games, nothing beats a trip to Disneyland. A sanctuary of fun, games and amusements makes it one of the top destiations for families with young and teenage children. With no shortage of rides, musical shows and other famous disney experiences you’ll find yourself completely spoilt for choice.

Adventure Land – Thrill Seekers Only

If your family are a bunch of thrill seekers or simply love the rush of adventure then Disneys Adventure Land has to be one of your top choices. The adventure land experience takes you to the highest mountain peaks, through the deepest jungles and right into outer space.

Whilst there check out the Jungle Cruise and if you’re a fan of the Indiana Jones movies ? Well you’ll have to experience and relive the crusades of Harrison Ford complete with bullwhip, fedora and leather jackets in the Indiana Jones Adventure.

Critter Country – Take A Timeout

Need a timeout then head over to Critter Country (known as Bear Country before 1988). Definitely one of the more laidback and more tranquil parts of the park making it ideal for the younger ones and for times when you just want to sit back and absorb the Disney Magic without having to do too much.

The Critter Country features the popular Splash Mountain, Davy Crockett’s Explorer Canoe and the Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh. Another wonderful attribute of the Critter Country has to be the Country Bear Jamboree which is a stage show with electronic animal characters, of which, yeah you guessed it, most are bears singing classic country songs!

Fantasy Land – Magic, Magic, Magic

Another breathtaking element of the whole Disneyland experience has to be it’s magic. The whole park exudes magic and fantasy but no where more so that Fantasy Land itself. This theme park will remind you of your childhood fantasies and let you explore the wonders of princesses and fairies. The Fantasy Land is where you’ll find many of your favorite Disney characters such as Alice from Alice in Wonderland, Dumbo, Snow White, Pinocchio and many more.

The full list of attractions over at fantasy land include: Snow White’s Scary Adventure, Pinocchio’s Daring Journey, Casey Jr. Circus Train, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride, Peter Pan’s Flight, Sleeping Beauty Castle, King Arthur Carousel, Pixie Hollow, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, Disney Princess Fantasy Faire, Matterhorn Bobsleds and Storybook Land Canal Boats. Fantasy Land is just the palce to relive your childhood memories!

Special Disney Shows

Now as well as all the main attractions don’t forget the multitude of special shows and parades lined up all over the park showing at special times of the day. First on the list of “must-see’s” is the Electrical Water Pageant which is a nightly display pageant that features two stings of seven barges highlighting King Triton and the rest of the underwater creatures.

Another must see is the “Fantasmic!” which features Mickey Mouse and scenes from Fantasia, Lion King and the Little Mermaid. IllumiNations which is a 13 minute night time spectacular fireworks display will surely take your breath away. Other shows include: Innoventions Fountain, Block Party Bash, Mickey’s Jammin’ Jungle Parade, Disney Dreams Come True Parade and Spectromagic.

Never Too Old For Disney

Just remember guys, Disneyland is ideal for everyone. One thing that most Disneyland fans always recall is the wide array of individuals and families at the park. You’ll see children, singles, couples (old and young) wandering the park making it the holiday of a lifetime for all and everyone.

Add to all this the magnificent Animal Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, EPCOT and the Magic Kingdom and you’ll quickly realise why the saying nobody is old enough to have fun and enjoy Disneyland is so true.
